Family Time in Long Beach

This summer has been full of fun! My sister and my nephew came for a visit from CT.  Anytime we were at the house, baby Jasper always had a shadow. These pups had so much fun with him!
Taking Gus Gus for a walk.
Drawing with sidewalk chalk in the backyard. I especially like the chalky handprint on Gus' nose.
 Driving to the dog beach.

Long Beach dog beach.
Car show in our neighborhood.
Jess & the most delicious waffle/ice cream dessert.
Jasper playing in the bed of Mason's truck.
Apparently dog crates are really fun.
And dog beds.
Sharing his toys with Jax.

Enjoying some thrifty ice cream.

 The OC Fair!!

I love their faces in this pic. They are watching the hypnotist work his magic on a group of people on the stage, but it seems to have worked on them a little.

A Weekend with Gus

So this past weekend we babysat Mason's little nephew while his sister and her hubby got a much needed vacation. He was an absolute dream. He took nice long naps and laughed and smiled (almost) the whole time. Get ready for picture overload because this baby and his tank tops are literally the cutest things ever and I went a little crazy.

Baby Gus loved dog Gus. He would follow him all around the house climbing on him, stealing his toys, etc. it was too cute.

Apparently babies love big sliding glass doors, because this kid was having a blast pounding on them to get Jax's attention or just goofing around.

On Saturday we took him with us out to the LA Roadster show and he loved it. He loves making friends with everyone and his huge blue eyes and constant smile wins everyone over.

I know, I know, sooo many pictures but can you blame me?! Such a cutie. But man. Kids sure are a lot of work. Respect to all the parents out there.

Dog & Truck Show

So this is a little delayed, but a couple weekends ago Mase entered his truck in his first show. It was a small show, but it was really nice.

Great cars, beautiful location, perfect weather and good food. But my favorite part was that at the same location there also just happened to be a dog show going on. What are the chances?

I have never seen a dog show and it was very interesting to watch. Gus made a few friends.

And these basset hounds are amazing. Their mile long ears are as soft as velvet and I mean are you kidding me with those droopy eyes!

It was a super fun day for the both of us. Mase got to show off his truck. People seemed to have liked it, since he won a trophy. I got to play with a bunch of dogs. Win. Win. Win.
